The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are excited to announce that they have added 2005 born Forward Cullen Emery for the 2024-2025 season.
Emery is 19 years old, and is from Los Angeles, California. The 5’10 181 pound forward shoots right and split last season between the Victoria Grizzlies, Merritt Centennials and Dexter Southfield School in the United States High School Prep league. In 30 games he scored 18 times and added 26 assists good for 44 points.
On the addition of Emery, Bulldogs Head Coach and General Manager Joe Martin stated: “I’m looking forward to seeing Cullen play in September. He has the potential to be a very good Bulldog. He had a sample of the BCHL last season on two playoff bound teams and I’m expecting that experience prepared him for our roster.”
Emery commented: “I am excited to be a Bulldog and join the great community they have in Port Alberni this season. I can’t wait to put on a Bulldog jersey and compete alongside my teammates for a championship.”
Culen will join his teammates in #hockeyvalley in advance of the season opening Golf Tournament on August 30th at the Alberni Golf Club
