Port Alberni, BC – The Alberni Valley Bulldogs announce the 2013/14 season main camp schedule.
This season, there has been an overwhelming amount of interest from prospects wanting to earn a full-time roster spot on the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. The coaching staff expects main camp to be significantly more competitive and challenging than last season.
As always, all scrimmages are open to the public and free to attend. The scrimmage times are as follows:
Monday, August 19th, 3:00-5:00pm & 5:30-7:30pm
Tuesday, August 20th, 8:00-10:00am, 10:15-12:15pm, 4:00-6:00pm, 6:30-8:30pm
Wednesday, August 21st, 8:30-10:15am, 10:45-12:30pm
5:00-7:30pm Top 40 Prospects Game
After all the games are completed on Wednesday afternoon, the top 40 prospects will be selected and two new teams will be created to play in the Top 40 Prospects game on Wednesday, August 21st from 5:00pm to 7:30pm.
Thursday, August 22nd
7:00-9:30pm Annaul Red/White Game featuring the top 40 players at camp (including returning and newly-signed players).
Continuing with tradition, we ask everyone coming to the Red/White Game on Thursday bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the Bread of Life Centre in Port Alberni. The Bread of Life Centre reaches out to serve the needs of the poor and the homeless through their Soup Kitchen and Thrift store.
