The Alberni Valley Bulldogs announced via Twitter two days ago that the team has traded 1993-born defenceman Eric Walker to the Dauphin Kings of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League for future considerations.

However, Walker began the 2011/12 season expecting to play for Northern Michigan before being signed by the Vancouver Giants, not 2012/13 for Western Michigan as stated in the article.
