It was an exciting bunch at the Alberni Valley Multiplex as fans were able to see the first real glimpse of the Bulldogs in action against another BCHL Team, the Powell River Kings and the fans were treated to a 5-2 victory for the Bulldogs.
Both teams managed to get on the board once in the first twenty minutes, first goal was scored by the Bulldogs’ #14 Ryan Steele which was followed by later in the period by the Kings’ #24 Callum Volpe.
In the second frame the Bulldogs’ would pull away with the lead 3-2, first Bulldogs’ goal in the second period was scored by Brandon Bergado followed by #27 Connor Welsh, while Powell River’s Callum Volpe would get on the board for the second time in the game.
The Powell River Kings could not manage to get on the score board in the final twenty minutes while the Bulldogs added two more, first by Jackson Doucet followed at 18:01 by Darren Rizzolo to take the game 5-2/
