Bulldogs fall 4-1 to the Kings on Sunday at the Dawg Pound

PORT ALBERNI, B.C- The Alberni Valley Bulldogs had their three game win streak snapped on Sunday at the Dawg Pound.

The Bulldogs lost 4-1 to the Powell River Kings.

The Kings went up 2-0 before the Bulldogs got the board. Josh Zary sniped this 4th of the season in the middle frame.

The Kings would add two more goals in the third and take the game 4-1.

Luke Pearson made 25 saves in the loss.

Sunday wrapped up four games in four and a half days for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs did pick up 6 of a possible 8 points during the busy stretch.

The 16-13-0-2 Bulldogs will be back on the ice, on Friday when they head to Duncan to battle the Cowichan Valley Capitals and then return home Saturday to face Chilliwack.
