Heading into December, the Bulldogs are busy on and off the ice. Here is the schedule of upcoming events prior to Christmas that the team is involved in:
The popular Bulldogs In School program contines into December, with 16 players helping out twice a week in the local elementary schools.
On Friday, November 27th, the Bulldogs players and front office staff helped launch the Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Bell fundraising drive at Wal-mart.
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 2ND
The Bulldogs help the Parks & Rec staff with setting up the Coulson Rink for Winter Wonderland.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 11TH @ 7PM vs West Kelowna Warriors
Come to the game and BUY LOCAL! Local merchants will be set up at the game so you can save some time at get your Christmas shopping done as well!
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12TH @ 7PM vs Trail Smoke Eaters
Teddy Bear Toss night. Bring a furry critter (wrapped in a plastic bag) to the game and let ’em fly once the ‘Dogs score their first goal!
MONDAY, DECEMBER 14TH
Bulldogs players and coaches spend the day distributing the stuffed bears and toys to local groups and charities!
WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16TH 830-930pm
Winter Wonderland Skate with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. Free event for everyone to come out for a free skate with the Bulldogs players and coaches.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18TH @ 7PM vs Cowichan Valley
Bulldogs Ugly Sweater Game! Wear your ugly sweaters to the game for a chance to win prizes!
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 27TH @ 9PM
Bulldogs help the Parks & Rec staff take down the Winter Wonderland decorations.
