Bulldogs Look for More Bite Against Bucks

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs (7-3-2) are looking for a bounce-back performance against the Cranbrook Bucks (6-4-0). After falling to the Penticton Vees 2-1 in overtime on Wednesday, November 10th.

And while the Bulldogs have been playing well this season on the defensive side of the puck. It’s been the offence that’s been a struggle at times for the Bulldogs.

Heading into Friday’s contest, the Bulldogs have scored 40 goals currently this 2021-22 BCHL season through their first 12 games. Which currently sits at 11th in the entire league.

Though the Bucks have less themselves with 37th, the Bucks have also played two fewer games so it isn’t the same situation as the Bulldogs.

What does this mean? It means that it’ll be a defensive game between these two teams. As neither team hasn’t been able to produce consistently offensively so far but has been able to handle teams due to their defensive capabilities.

Puck drop will begin at 7:00 PM and if you’re unable to make it to the game. You can catch the action live over on BCHL TV. A link for the broadcast will be down below.
