Job Title: Alberni Valley Bulldogs Game Day/Special Events Coordinator
Job Status: Part-Time
The Alberni Valley Bulldogs of the British Columbia Hockey League are looking for an energetic, outgoing person with a passion for Sports Entertainment to join our Hockey Club as Game Day/Special Events Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs Sales, Marketing, and Business Operations Team.
• Coordinate and develop in-game entertainment including promotions, activities, and fan interactive elements.
• Schedule game night volunteers such as anthem singers, ice crew and other positions that are required.
• Continually research and implement new and creative ideas to enhance the Bulldogs fan experience.
• Manage all sponsor prizing and giveaways.
• Oversee and manage all game night activations.
• Work with Coaching Staff on Special Events in the Community
• Attend Special Events with Bulldogs’ Players
• Some administrative duties

• Team Oriented
• Excellent customer service skills and personable approach
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
• Good judgement and decision making skills
• Ability to troubleshoot in a fast paced environment
• Ability to effectively multitask
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the game of hockey
• Experience with promotions and customer service an asset
