The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are please to announce the return of 2007 born defenceman, Ryan George.
Last season, the Boca Raton, Florida product put up 10 points in 22 games, including 9 assists for Alberni Valley.
“Ryan had a great off season committing to Army in Division 1 hockey, securing his future.” said Bulldogs Head Coach and GM Joe Martin,
“He’s a lively teammate that brings excitement every day. On the ice we’re looking for him to have a great season.”
Prior to joining the club mid-way through last season, the 6’3 185 lbs rearguard played 23 games with the Minnesota Mallards in the NAHL, posting 15 points.
George has committed to Army (U.S. Military Academy) of the NCAA for the 2027-28 season.
Fans will have to wait a bit to see Ryan in action, as according to Martin, “He’ll be sidelined for a bit with a minor injury, with his timeline not known exactly. However, he is chomping to play.”
Please give a big Hockey Valley welcome back to Ryan George!
