James McDonald Joins Saskatoon Blades (WHL)

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are very proud to announce that 'Dogs athletic therapist and equipment manager James McDonald has been hired by the WHL's Saskatoon Blades as their new athletic therapist.

James served as the Bulldogs athletic therapist and equipment manager for two full seasons. In 2013/14, James was tapped by Hockey Canada to serve as the athletic therapist for Team West in the World Junior A Challenge in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Team West won a bronze medal in that competition.

James replaces Steve 'Hilty' Hildebrand who was promoted as the Blades new assistant general manager.

"James comes highly recommended," said Hildebrand through the Saskatoon Blades' press release when asked about his replacement.  "He's been working at the craft for the last number of years including working at the World Junior A Challenge last year. He's excited, we're excited to have him and I know it will be a great fit."
