This weeks Jowsey’s Furniture Player of the Week is #29 Keaton Mastrodonato who earned three points in two games.
Mastrodonato essentially earned his Player of the Week honours in the first game of the weekend at the Q Centre in Victoria. where he tallied both this goals and an assist and was named the first star in the game.
The Grizzlies were leading by one goal when late in the first period Mastrodonato would score his first goal of the game assisted by Darren Rizzolo and Jackson Doucet. He would follow up with another goal, which would also be the game winner at 9:16 in the second period on the powerplay assisted by Evan Googins.
He would add an assist on Ryan Miotto’s empty net goal in the 5-3 win over the Victoria Grizzlies.
Although Mastrodonato was a strong force in game number two of the weekend he was kept off the scoresheet in the 2-1 overtime loss to the Victoria Grizzlies.
