MacIntosh Commits to Merrimack College

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are proud to announce that 2004 born forward Dakota MacIntosh has committed to play NCAA Division 1 Hockey at Merrimack College in North Andover Massachusetts.

MacIntosh joined the Bulldogs in mid-November and has made an immediate impact on the roster.  MacIntosh has registered 16 goals and 13 assists for 29 points in just 23 BCHL games.

MacIntosh is currently riding a 7 game goal scoring streak, which ties him for the longest such streak in the BCHL this season.

“Dakota has continually improved since joining our team in November” said Bulldogs head coach and general manager Joe Martin.  “Dakota seems like he has the potential to score each time he’s out on the ice and the numbers show that. It’s great to see him rewarded with a scholarship to a good school like Merrimack College.”

MacIntosh is super excited for his future with Merrimack. “I couldn’t have asked for a more dedicated program, and such an elite program to spend my college years at.  I’m thankful for my family, my teammates, and the whole Bulldogs organization for everything they’ve done for me. I’m excited for a deep playoff run with these guys.” Said MacIntosh.

With his commitment to Merrimack, MacIntosh will join fellow Bulldogs David Sacco and Ethan Bono on the Warriors roster.

The Bulldogs now have 12 members of the 22-23 roster committed to play NCAA Hockey.
