Mark Morikawa Commits to Elmira College

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are pleased to announce that Mark Morikawa has committed to attend Elmira College beginning the Fall of 2009.
 
Morikawa, a 2 year veteran of the BCHL, was acquired by the Alberni Valley Bulldogs during the 2007 ? 2008 season from the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. In 96 career games in the BCHL Morikawa totalled 15 goals, 23 assists for 38 points.
  
Founded in 1855 Elmira College is located in Elmira, New York. Elmira College is a Liberal Arts School and has an enrolment of 1,200 students. Morikawa plans to pursue a degree in Business Administration concentrating in Accounting.

?The Bulldogs organization is extremely excited for Mark. He will be able to continue pursuing his athletic career while playing for a very reputable hockey program, while also working towards a Degree in Business. Mark has worked extremely hard, on and off the ice, the Bulldogs organization is happy to see him rewarded.? said GM/Head Coach Nolan Graham.

Alberni Valley Bulldogs training camp starts at the Multiplex on August 24th at 12 PM.  The first preseason home game is scheduled for August 29th at 7:00 PM.
