Muir Commits to SAIT

Alberni Valley Bulldogs 20 year old right winger, Warrren Muir has committed to attend SAIT for the upcoming 2010-11 season. Muir known for his commitment, hard work and dedication had his best goal scoring year with 16 goals in 48 games.

Muir is one of the longest serving Bulldogs having started his junior career in Port Alberni as a 15 year old. Add-in stints in Williams Lake and Nanaimo in between, Muir returned to the Bulldogs 3 years ago to finish out his junior career.

Muir had several opportunities in the US and Canada to attend University but decided on SAIT because of the Respiratory Therapy program.

SAIT is renowned for its training expertise spanning the trades through to applied degrees. Curriculum development is supported by partnerships with business and industry to ensure graduates have the skills and knowledge required in the workplace.

?Warren is a great person and hockey player, he will do great things with his life.? commented Bulldogs assistant coach Paul Esdale.

Muir helped the Bulldogs to a franchise record in wins and points in a regular season and led them to the Coastal Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history.
