The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are excited to announce the commitment of Josh Van Unen to play CIS University hockey with the Lakehead Thunderwolves in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Van Unen played 70 games with the Bulldogs over 2 seasons and was a fan favourite with his skilled, yet tenacious style of play. Van Unen registered 23 goals and 47 assists for 70 points in his time as a Bulldog.
Head Coach & General Manager Joe Martin on Van Unen’s commitment. “I’m excited for Josh that to continue his playing career at Lakehead. He was a great Bulldog who competed every day for us.”
Van Unen, who turned 21 in May is excited for the chance to continue his playing career. “I’m extremely honoured and excited to join the Lakehead Thunderwolves. I’m grateful for the support of my family, coaches, and teammates who have helped me along the way.”
