Warriors edge Bulldogs 4-3

The Bulldogs were looking to get back on track Sunday afternoon when the West Kelowna Warriors paid a visit however the Warriors would narrowly beat the Bulldogs by a score of 4-3.

Cole Poliziani would open the scoring on the powerplay at 8:10 of the first period assisted by Sami Pharaon but within 40 seconds the Warriors would tie things up by Max Bulawka assisted by Michael Ryan and Jake Harrison.

Warriors would be the only team to get on the scoreboard in the second frame by RJ Murphy assisted by Spencer Hora to give them the 2-1 lead.

Both teams would exchange two goals each in the third period, first Alberni’s Tyler Vanuden, followed by Warrior’s Wyatt Head.

Vanuden would add another goal for his second of the game while Warriors Cavin Tilsey would score the game winner.

Things got heated towards the end of the period, James Orban would be given a Blow To The Head Major and a Game Misconduct on his hit to Michael Lombardi. Lombardi would be taken off the ice and received stitches.

John Hawthorne would mange to stop 39 of 43 shots he faced in the game.
