The Alberni Valley Bulldogs are excited to announce that they have signed 2006 born Forward Léon Buff for the 2025-2026 season.
The 19 year old Buff is from Saint Moritz, Switzerland and is 6’0 and 194 pounds. He played last season in the Swiss Ice Hockey Federation’s U20-Elit league with the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers, and in 50 regular and relegation contests scored 17 goals and added 14 assists for 31 points.
On the addition of Buff, Bulldogs Head Coach and General Manager Joe Martin commented: “Léon is a natural centre, and is very good on draws. He’s always around the net”

The Bulldogs will be making a special announcement at the Port Alberni Salmon Festival at Tyee Landing at 7:50pm, on Saturday, August 30th.
