Bulldogs Back Home to Face Kings

The Alberni Valley Bulldogs (8-5-2) are right back at it again after falling to the Nanaimo Clippers 5-4 last Wednesday night. And will be back to playing at home. As they will host the Powell River Kings (6-6-1).

This is the start of a three-game homestand and will also be the first meeting between these two teams. Both teams are also on opposite sides of current streaks.

The Bulldogs have lost two straight games, along with three of the last four games. Whereas the Kings have won three-straight games coming into Thursday night’s match.

When looking at the team’s stats, the Bulldogs are ahead of the Kings in all categories team categories. However, the Kings have also played two fewer games, which would explain their below-average goals scored. But the Kings have also allowed the fourth-most goals in the BCHL (61).

This is one where defence may be lacking in this contest and goals could be scored in bunches. And if that’s the case, this will be one entertaining Thursday night.

Puck drop will be at 7:00 PM at the Alberni Valley Multiplex. Tickets will be available for $16 for each adult.

However, if you’re under the age of 18 and are accompanied by an adult, you’ll be able to see the game for free. Thanks to the San Group.

And if you’re not able to attend tonight’s game. You can also catch the game live on BCHLTV via HockeyTV and on 93.3 The Peak. A link for both broadcasts will be down below.

Fans are reminded that current PHO Orders are in effect.

Those orders state that:

Vaccination passports (and their corresponding Government Issued Identification) are mandatory for admittance.

The wearing of masks inside the Multiplex is mandatory

Fans are encouraged to arrive early, due to the entry process taking longer due to PHO Orders.
