Utica, N.Y. – Utica Comets General Manager Ryan Johnson announced today that the club has signed goaltender Connor LaCouvee to a PTO.
LaCouvee, 24, has appeared in three games this season with the Maine Mariners, holding a 2-0-0 record with a 2.57 goals-against average and a .929 save percentage.
Prior to turning pro, the Qualicum Beach, B.C. native played four seasons of NCAA hockey spilt between Boston University and Minnesota St. Mankato. He finished his collegiate career with a 36-15-6 record, a 2.19 goals-against average, and a .913 save percentage.
