Familiar Faces Lead Bulldogs to Pre-Season Win

While there are still plenty of new faces hoping to make an impact on the Bulldogs fortunes, a familiar crew paced the attack as the Bulldogs defeated the Cowichan Valley Capitals 3-1 in BCHL pre-season action at the Alberni Valley Multiplex.

Manu Charbonneau and Ethan Bono both scored as they made their pre-season debuts, while new-comers Matt Kursonis and Jaxon Wismer each chipped in their 1st goals of the pre-season.

Hobie Hedquist, the Bulldogs reigning club MVP from a year ago made his pre-season debut and was sharp as he turned aside 21 of the 22 shots the Capitals directed his way.

The victory moved the Bulldogs to 2-2-0-0 in the pre-season with their next action coming on Tuesday night against the Nanaimo Clippers.
